As I was filling it, I noticed a certain trend.
I have plenty of eyeshadow but very little of anything else. Since its hard to find foundation and blush to match, I usually stick with whatever works. (You've probably noticed all my Face of the Day feature the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in #7 and NARS Lovejoy Blush). I don't really like lipstick because it dries my lips out and I go through gloss quickly so I don't usually have a lot of it because I'm always replenishing. But I see I need to flesh out my collection with more lippies and blush.
Another reason I have a lot of eyeshadow is because I believe my eyes are my best feature. When my mother told me I had to be 14 to wear lipstick, I asked could I wear mascara instead, lol. I remember I had a Barbie eyeshadow kit as a kid with three colors: sky blue, peach, and brown. I wore that kit till it was empty. I was never allowed to wear it outside the house but believe me, I was the painted lady indoors. I had the lipstick too but I was more interested in the eye stuff.

That is a very pretty makeup case. I spot some pretty eyeshadows in there too. Go ahead and branch out hon. You wouldn't believe the shades of blush that work, they look scary in the pan but with a light hand look beautiful on... and you can never have too many lippies. :)
