Bee Mine Products: First Thoughts

I saw Bee Mine products mentioned on a few YouTube channels so I decided to buy some samples to try them out.  I purchased these samples myself.

 

The samples are pretty generous!

First things first:  Shipping is pretty fast.  I was surprised because normally when I order natural hair products they take weeks to ship.  I got my order from Bee Mine in less than a week. Yippee!

I used the products on my hair yesterday and my daughter's today.  Like I mentioned before, we normally have different results with the same products.

Thoughts:

Peppermint and Tea Tree Moisturizing Shampoo

For Me:  It lathered well but my hair felt a little stripped after rinsing.  My hair didn't feel tangled or hard though so I think it was just a new sensation for me.  I didn't really like the scent.

For my daughter:  It didn't lather as well but she has A LOT of hair.  Her hair was very soft afterward. She liked the scent.

Avocado Cream Balanced Conditioner

We both had great results with the conditioner.  Hair was soft.  I liked the scent better on the conditioner.  My daughter said it reminded her of bananas.

Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer
Very nice texture and smell. I like the fact that its lightweight.  One of the reasons I never liked Pink Oil Moisturizer was that it was heavy.  And big bonus,  I was able to detangle my daughter's hair with ease.  Detangling my daughter's curls can be an emotional process for both of us but things went smoothly.

Bee Hold Curly Butter in Coconut Cream
I only used this on my hair.  At first, I wasn't too sure about it.  I normally put gel in my hair.  This is a cream.  The directions say to comb through then style.  I hardly ever comb my curls but decided to follow the directions.  When I first looked in the mirror, I didn't see curls.

 

I saw more frizz than anything else but as it dried...

  

The curls started to show up.  And unlike when I use gel, they are soft and springy.   I will definitely buy larger jars of the Curly Butter and Luscious Moisturizer.  But I will get the Curly Butter in unscented.

I also bought samples of the Hair Growth Serum in the Strawberry Kiwi and Mango.  I'm interested to see if it will help my edges grow in so I will check up on that in a few weeks.
