If you're in NYC, its a great two-day fair to check out. I know quite a few of the artists participating and the offerings are great. You can find out more about the market by visiting http://bkcraftcentral.com/ It's a perfect time to shop for gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and graduations. I will be selling my handcrafted stationery and paper crafts with my buddy, the uber talented jewelry designer, Yania of Yania Creations. We always have a great time at the Lyceum. Plus there's a place across the street called Yomari's that sells the most amazing empanadas. Oh God, my eyes roll back in my head just thinking of it. And the prices are insanely affordable.
If you can't make it to Brooklyn, I have another event I'm vending at the week after called Crafts in Chelsea. This fair is sponsored by my Etsy group, The New New Etsy team. We took over Chelsea in October and we're back to do it again May 8th. I will have more details in a few weeks but you can look at details from prior events here.
Spring and summer offer great opportunities to support local artisans and up your style factor with items that are original, unique, and often one of a kind.
