It's been a heck of a week. I'm still getting over my bronchitis...much better. I broke a tooth over last weekend...so painful. I've been playing love doctor to my brokenhearted brother...he really needs to stop dating gold diggers. And I found out I have to move. I've been in my place for the past 11 years. I moved out of mom's house to this apartment. It was the perfect two bedroom apartment for a young single woman. But with the addition of my daughter, its become a bit cramped. I really wanted to buy a house but life kept getting in the way.
I knew the owner had stopped doing regular maintenance but I was trying to get through grad school before making a move. After a disagreement about a problem in the house, we both decided that it was time for us to terminate the lease. It bumps up my schedule a bit. I was hoping to move by the end of the summer but it looks like it will be April or May. Thankfully I am blessed to have the funds needed and my daughter and I are both excited about moving into something better. So I'm on the hunt for a new apartment and feeling very anxious but ready. Rent in NJ is very expensive but I promised myself to be open to the possibilities and see this as a door opening to a bright future.
Moving is awesome - and tons of work.

I have moved 4 times in the past 5 years. Not fun! My husband would have to get me out kickin' and screamin' at this point.
