N.Y.C. Smooch Proof 16hr Lip Stain in Rock On Ruby and Forever Mine Wine

Picked these up in a recent Rite Aid for 40% off.  I was curious how they compared to the Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain I bought a while back.

 They are pretty smudge proof.  I left in on my hand for the rest of the day and it didn't budge.  Had to wash off with soap and water.

Color is pretty vibrant on the lips.  This is Rock On Ruby.  I've used the Cover Girl markers and the color wasn't this bold.

 I will say it requires a bit of precision when applying.  The tip is just like a marker and has no flexibility. 

Here's where it shines though.  I added NYX Round Lipgloss in Strawberry over Rock On Ruby and pop!!  The lipgloss is a translucent pink with sparkles so it doesn't add much color just shine. Nice alternative to lipstick. Not bad for less than $3.

I will definitely pick up more colors when they go on sale again.
